In December 2021, a French bulldog puppy was brought to Zaporizhzhia from Melitopol. A four-month-old boy weighing 7,200 kg is just a hero. It is because of the weight that we called it KROSH. He was born with spinal problems and a very large tracheal anomaly (it is as narrow as a little finger). We did Krosha MRI in Dnipro. Diagnosis: problems with 4, 5, 6, 7 vertebrae in the back, very strong compression in four vertebrae in a row - and it was like a sentence. And a narrow chest.

The cause of all problems is a congenital anomaly. In order to perform decompression, a very complicated and prohibitively expensive operation was required, which was undertaken by a neurosurgeon in Odessa. The spine had to be aligned on a special structure from 90 degrees to at least 40, it is fixed on special bolts and medical cement. The doctor gave only 40% and 20% guarantees that he will walk after the operation because it will get even worse and the innervation of the ureter and rectum will disappear. The cost of such an operation was 2,000 euros, without accommodation and road. All January and half of February we collected these funds and we collected them.

But we were never able to leave on the planned date - February 24, because the war started. Because of this, our Vukhasta Khata moved to a private house. Our little Kroshik spent the whole summer here. And here is the result, in September we began to notice that Krosh got up on his paws and began to walk a little. This has never happened in our experience, THIS IS A MIRACLE!!! Gradually, first on the street, then around the house, and for the moment, even on the tile, he walks on his own, like all bulldogs. When he runs fast, one paw clings to the other a little, but he walks completely and even tries to climb the stairs. It's just that they are very slippery here.

We told about this miracle to our doctor, he said that it happened because of constant movement, like rehabilitation. If they had continued to live in the apartment, he would not have started walking. So everything is not in vain, but a great experience for us. People with back pain - disabled people need a place for permanent access to the street and constant movement. And Krosh doesn't need an operation anymore, he walks like that.
