Our Myron is a special boy. He has a charismatic character, manners of communication, appearance and individual behavior. Myron is not a sedentary French ass. He was born with an extremely unique diagnosis of Spina Bifida — a splitting of the spine and herniation of the fetal spinal cord while still in the womb. Miron came to us at the age of 2.5 months from breeders. He did not walk, pooped and peed under himself. An MRI showed that he has a myelocystocele - one of the varieties of Spina Bifida - the most severe type of damage, in which the spinal cord suffers particularly badly, coming out into the spinal cord hernia together with the membranes through the defect. This is characterized by serious neurological disorders with incontinence of urine and feces, as well as a cut of the pelvic limbs. Miron is one of the severe cases of damage. I think that he is the only one with such a diagnosis in Ukraine. But it's a miracle, our Miron can't stand up on his hind legs, jump, jump and jump off the couch, but he can run well, although by all accounts he shouldn't. We can't even imagine that our Myron would sit quietly on his ass. Maybe nailing it to the floor won't help either.

And Miron came to us already with a gut that fell out in the anus. At the age of 3 months, he underwent an operation to suture the intestine, and during the operation, it turned out that the walls of the urinary bladder were glued to the peritoneum, and we had to operate on this too, plus we immediately castrated him. It has no effect on Miron's mood and charismatic character. Miron does not know how seriously ill he is, he thinks that it should be. And that all bulldogs are diapered 24/7 with pee pads, clothed and bathed 2-3 times a day and bathed once a week so they don't smell like poop. Myron is an eternal baby in a diaper. With the appearance of Myron, I realized that there must be a hospice for disabled bulldogs and pugs. It was Miron who became the first hospice client without a hospice. Now we have become involved and learned to live with it to the point of automatism. People like Miron should be happy every day, every day is won and lived. Let's believe that the 5-6 years of a full life promised to him by doctors, with good care and control of the kidneys and stagnant processes, give him a chance for half the life that belongs to ordinary bulldogs.
